Terms of use

These are the terms between you and REKA Inisiatif Sdn Bhd (“REKA”, “we”) for using Angka. By creating an account you agree to them. They are short on purpose; if something is unclear, ask before you rely on it.

What Angka is

Angka reads your business documents and bank statements, keeps the evidence together, and shows you figures built from it. It is a bookkeeping assistant, not an accountant, an auditor or a tax adviser. Its figures are provisional until a qualified person has reviewed them, and it says so on every page where it matters. Decisions about tax treatment, filings and what to tell an authority are yours and your accountant’s.

The pilot

  • Angka is in a closed pilot. Access is by invitation and can be withdrawn, and the service can change, pause or end while the pilot runs.
  • There is no charge during the pilot. If that changes, you will be told at least thirty days ahead and can leave before it does.
  • You agree to tell us when something reads wrong; that is what the pilot is for.

Your account and workspace

  • One person, one account. Keep your password to yourself and tell us at once if you think someone else has it.
  • You are responsible for what is uploaded into your workspace and for having the right to keep and process it, including other people’s details on your documents.
  • An owner can invite others, set their roles, and remove them. What they do inside the workspace is on the workspace.
  • Do not use Angka for anything unlawful, to hold data you are not entitled to, or to probe the service for weaknesses without asking us first.

AI

Parts of Angka use AI models from Anthropic and Google to read documents and name bank lines. They are wrong sometimes. Everything a model reads is marked as a proposal until a person confirms it, shows the exact words it came from, and can be undone. Where a model’s reading and a document disagree, the document wins. You can switch AI off for your workspace.

Your data

It stays yours. We process it only to provide the service, as set out in the privacy notice. You can export all of it at any time and delete the workspace whenever you choose.

What we promise, and do not

  • We keep the service running and your data safe with reasonable care, and we tell you promptly if we learn of a breach affecting you.
  • Because this is a pilot of a service that reads documents with imperfect tools, we do not promise that every figure is right, that the service is always up, or that it suits a particular purpose. Check the figures before you act on them.
  • To the extent Malaysian law allows, our liability to you for anything arising from the pilot is limited to what you paid for it, which during the pilot is nothing. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited by law.

Ending

You can stop at any time by deleting your workspace. We can suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, or the pilot as a whole, with as much notice as we can give; in either case you can take your data out first.

The rest

Malaysian law applies. We may change these terms; a change that matters will be announced in the app before it takes effect. Questions: haziqfaris@reka.re.
